Basic CSR Philosophy
NIKKO KIZAI Inc. shall respect the spirit of laws, regulations, and industry agreements, and shall make it a top priority to comply with such laws and regulations, and shall strive to conduct business activities that are beneficial to all stakeholders. By doing so, we aim to earn a higher level of trust from society and contribute to the development of a healthy society. In order to realize this basic philosophy, we have established the following basic CSR policy.
Basic CSR Policy
①Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Our company shall correctly understand and comply with all laws, regulations, guidelines, etc. related to our business. In particular, we shall correctly understand and comply with the Companies Act and its related regulations, labor laws, tax laws, and other laws and regulations related to our business, as well as related business laws pertaining to the products and services we handle, and shall strive to be a company that is trusted by society by conducting business in accordance with these laws and regulations.
②Respect for Personality and Human Rights
Our company respect the personality and human rights of each and every employee and do not unfairly discriminate on the basis of gender, creed, physical condition, social status, etc.
③Respect for Intellectual Property
Our company respect the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights. In particular, we do not pirate computer software or publications. We will also check the copyright terms of any information on the Internet before downloading it.
④Privacy Protection
Our company will strictly manage personal information in our possession and will not use it for purposes other than those originally intended. The purposes that we define are as follows,
- Operations necessary for the delivery of the Company's products ordered
- Providing information deemed useful and necessary to customers, such as new product announcements
- Inquiries and confirmations from the Company necessary for the performance of our business, and exchange of opinions for the improvement of our services
- Responding to various types of inquiries
Our company use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology with a server certificate issued by GeoTrust to encrypt communications when customer information is transmitted. We also strive to ensure that our employees act in a manner that respects the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law so as not to infringe on the privacy of any individual.
⑤Duty of Confidentiality
Protecting the confidentiality of our business partners is our most fundamental rule. We will not divulge to any other party any information obtained through transactions with our business partners, except with their consent or when there is a legitimate reason such as when required by law.
⑥Prohibition of Harassment
Our company will strive to maintain an appropriate work environment in accordance with labor laws and other relevant laws and regulations. We will prohibit any behavior that may deteriorate the work environment, such as repeated use of language or behavior that the opposite sex may find repulsive, or reprimanding of subordinates or new employees by supervisors or senior staff members more than necessary.
⑦Workplace Environment
Our company strive to create a safe and comfortable work environment so that all employees can work with peace of mind and perform their duties efficiently, and to realize economic, mental, and temporal comfort and affluence for our employees.
⑧Interaction with Local Communities
As a good corporate citizen, we will strive to contribute to society by deepening our interaction with local communities and participating in local social activities.
➈Dealing with Antisocial Forces
Our company will always take a firm stand against anti-social forces, such as organized crime groups, general meeting house operators, and terrorist groups, etc. If anti-social forces, etc. should intervene, we will take appropriate measures in cooperation with the relevant departments and police authorities. If we unintentionally become involved with such groups or individuals, we will promptly report the fact and receive appropriate instructions regarding subsequent actions.

Our company recognize that the protection of the global environment is an important issue common to all humankind, and in all aspects of our corporate activities, we will consider and act to continuously improve the global environment and prevent pollution, aiming to improve our position as a trading company specializing in production goods, mainly machinery and tools, that are environmentally and energy friendly.

- Our company will strive to reduce environmental risks by selling “environmentally superior products” that reduce environmental impact in cooperation with our suppliers and customers through our daily sales activities.
- Our company will comply with relevant environmental laws, regulations, and agreed agreements.
- Our company will work to conserve energy and resources, reduce waste, and promote efficient operations.
- In keeping with the spirit of the policy, we will work to enhance and continually improve our environmental management system.
- This environmental policy will be disclosed to all employees, stakeholders, and external parties.
Diversity & Inclusion
Promoting Women's Empowerment
Our company have formulated an action plan based on the Law for the Promotion of Women's Activities and announced numerical targets and other information. As a first step toward realizing an organization in which a diverse range of human resources can play an active role, we are earnestly working on various measures with the aim of acquiring “Eruboshi” certification, which recognizes companies with excellent performance in promoting women's activities.
